If I Illustrated For...

Personal Project, June 2020

A series of illustrations for my dream job(s): to illustrate across various digital and print illustrations. The selected publications in this series are: WIRED, Healthyish / Bon Appétit, NPR, Jacobin, and VICE. To be clear: these are just imagined illustrations, they were not actually published!

This illustration went along with a VICE piece, "The Nine-Year-Old Paying Off His Classmates'

Lunch Debt Isn't a 'Feel Good' Story." The title kind of speaks for itself but I was really drawn to

the topic and how it calls out social media's tendency to twist a deep failure of our government

and our public school system into a cutesy heartfelt story.
